Persepolis and other relevant buildings
Persepolis and other relevant buildings is part of the Tentative list of Iran in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List. It is a proposed extension of Persepolis WHS.
Persepolis was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire (c. 550–330 BC). This proposal comprises the whole Persepolis ensemble, in addition to the already inscribed platform.
